Right, we have a new person in our guild. Some suspect he/she's a spy. Oh glory. It just so happens that our guild has a storage that is accessible to all for a fee of 10 k which im sure everyone can get. So generally, the spy can rob us and run away, the worst part being that it's legal. So whaddo I do now, any suggestions?

address the issue with the person as to why you suspect them of being a spy. if they avoid the question, apply boot liberally.

I think the OP meant that members have access to an extra account. would that mean your guild members have access to 4 characs and the storage?

To OP: nice idea, but (as you mentioned) it could also create trust issues.

I suggest: have a meeting, mention the issue to those w/ authority, have a vote (to keep or not keep the new player), and evaluate the result.

*if it's decided that ppl want to keep this "spy" (as you put it), then they are the ones who have to take the responsibility if something does go wrong.
**other than that, if no one thinks they can trust the new person, just explain about your decision and tell them to resign.

GL.

I hope not. You could have that whole extra account taken over by said "spy." How exactly would you stop someone from changing the login info?

Why any guild shares accounts, gold, weapons, etc is beyond me. I am in a very tight knit guild, we are all in our twenties or older, married, kids. We have all played different games together for years and we don't do this. If someone needs something, and someone else has it, they give it to us. Usually we offer money and they won't accept it. This in my opinion makes life easier on the guild leaders, and promotes more communication among the guild. We also do not charge to join our guild. They have to play with us for awhile before we ever give them the tag, and more importantly, full access to our website forums, ventrilo, etc.
